New York Times Bestselling Author Luvvi blogged about her experience of writing a Vision Statement and how everything she wrote manifested.

Here's what she said:

"One of the exercises we did was on Vision Statements. We were told to write a letter to someone as if it was 10 years in the future. Write it and describe what you’re doing, who you’re around, where you’re living. Be as descriptive as you want.In my vision statement, it is January 2020 and I am running a nonprofit organization (Red Pump) that is making global impact, I have a social media consultancy firm and travel the world speaking and teaching about technology, and I am a New York Times Bestselling author."

Everything she wrote came true!! Click here for her full story

She described what happened:

"The Red Pump Project had our first anniversary event, and it was in Chicago: the first Rock the RED fashion show. There, Karyn (my co-founder) and I were presented with a Congressional Record from the U.S. House of Representatives, acknowledging our work in raising awareness about the impact of HIV/AIDS on women and girls. There is a picture of us wiping away thug tears. That was March 22, 2010.

On April 10, 2010, I got laid off my job because of budget cuts. But two weeks later, they asked me to give a Twitter training, thus beginning my consulting life. I started getting hired to teach folks about blogging, branding and how to use digital tools to further their business. I have not had a fulltime 9–5 job since.

On May 11, 2010, I got an email (out of the blue) from a book agent who had been reading my blog and said she was a fan of my work. She said I needed to write a book, and she’d be interested in helping me make it happen.
Everything I had put in that vision statement was just dropping at my feet."

"When he was a second-grader in Chesterfield, Va., Denny Hamlin wrote that his goal was to win the Daytona 500 in a red, white and blue car that looked like Bill Elliott's.
Well, his dream came true on Sunday, when on his 11th try, Hamlin drove the No. 11 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota to victory in NASCAR's biggest race. And afterward, Hamlin's mother, Mary Lou Hamlin, tweeted a picture of Hamlin's second-grade note.
"If I do win the Daytona 500, I could win 1,000,000 dollars," Hamlin wrote in his note."

OCTAVIA BUTLER’S PERSONAL JOURNAL SHOWS THE AUTHOR LITERALLY WROTE HER LIFE INTO EXISTENCE

"Butler had aspirations of being a writer since she found a need for marginalized voices in science fiction. Her desire to succeed was recently discovered between the covers of a notebook in the Huntington Library. Archived among many of the other texts Butler kept throughout her career, this discovery serves as a testimony of sorts where in 1988, she wrote out the trajectory of her writing and hopes for it to be well-received among readers and the literary elite.
With testaments like “I will find the way to do this. So be it! See to it!” ringing in Ms. Butler’s conscience there were no limits to the bounds she would go to reach her fated acclaim. Sooner than later, Butler found her affirmations became her reality. Following the success of several novels including, Mind of My Mind, Clay’s Ark, and the widely recognized, Kindred, she went on to receive a spot among the best-seller lists and be a renowned novelist with awards and accolades including becoming the first science- fiction writer to receive a grant from the MacArthur foundation, a Lifetime Achievement award, and induction into the Science Fiction Hall of Fame. And these affirmations proved to be the catalyst she needed. What Butler wrote as a verbal vision board then, would later come to fruition and hold true to the idea that the work she was doing had a purpose and would fall upon yearning hands"

"If you’ve ever poked fun at someone—especially an entrepreneur–for creating a vision board as a way to picture success, you may not be laughing in a few minutes. A new study by TD Bank shows that small business owners use visualization—pictures and idea boards—to meet their entrepreneurial goals.
TD Bank surveyed more than 1100 people and 500 small business owners nationwide in December and January to learn about their “visualization practices.”
  • One in five small business owners used a vision board or other visual representation when starting their business; 76% of those business owners said that today their business is where they envisioned it would be when they started it.
  • Eighty-two percent of small business owners that used a vision board from the get-go reported that they have accomplished more than half the goals they included on that board."

1. Sonia Satra, known for her roles on Guiding Light and One Life to Live:
"My first board was very simple. It was just a board with red wrapping paper on it, with about 20 words pasted on it--not even pictures, just words. At the time, I was about to start a very intense and serious story line in Guiding Light. I was nervous, and I really wanted to do a good job because I knew it would impact a lot of people, and it meant a lot to me. So I made the vision board with that in mind, thinking,"This is how I want this story line to go; this is how I want to reach this goal."
As the show aired, there was a lot of press in soap magazines about it. I did actually do a good job on it--and over the course of the next three months, all of the words I'd used on the vision board showed up in magazine articles about me. :

2. Sonja Fisher, Actress, Producer, Model, Host, Speaker, Author and Former Mrs. Corporate America:
"After my divorce, I was looking for my true soul mate I put some pictures of what I envisioned in a man as well as a list of the qualities I wanted in a mate. I met him shortly after and now we have been together 6 years and I am so happy! Team S rocks! Also other big accomplishments I achieved due to my vision board:
a. I landed a role as a recurring nurse on General Hospital. It has been my dream since I was 12 years old.

Here's the weekly non-vision board law of attraction story. You may remember ourpost awhile back about MMA fighter Connor Mcgreggor.
Connor just recently became the undisputed Champ in his weight division by defeating someone who was undefeated for 10 years.
The day after Conor’s victory in a post-match conference a journalist reminded Conor how he predicted not only the round in which he would win the fight, but also the exact manner of his victory down to the last detail. . . Conor’s reply blew me away. Click here to Listen for yourself:
