Before she went overseas in 2012, She put pictures all over her work desk of destinations that she wanted to go to, not only the places she was visiting on that trip, but locations in general that she wanted to e eventually see. One of those pictures was a shot of two statues somewhere in Siem Reap. After she cut the picture out, she forgot where in Siem Reap they even were; she just knew they were part of the Angkor complex. Cambodia being the last place she was visiting on that trip, she forgot all about this picture once she left home, as they were no longer in front of her face every day. She went to Cambodia and photographed everything, and then she returned home. It was then that she realized she had seen these statues, on the bridge of the South Gate of Angkor Thom. She had taken a photo that was almost identical to the one she'd been looking at every day at work. Click here for her story |
