Erin talks about her brother, she said: When I was a teenager my brother was a little overweight. I remember one day he put a bunch of photos of thin people up around the house. There was one on our refrigerator, on his bedroom door, inside his room, on the pantry door, etc. They just popped up overnight. He also put signs around the kitchen that said “think thin.” There were photos of marathon runners and other athletes all around the house too. He started exercising and eating better. In fact, he not only trained for a marathon, he became a triathlete. When he put those signs and photos up, he was ready. He even surrounded himself with triathletes and started hanging out with them more and more. By putting up those signs and photos, he was reinforcing his desires. And he succeeded in spades.
